Sorry if I'm misunderstanding or being dense but I'm not sure how literally I'm to take the submission message. If I only send what is described certainly vital information will be missing. Namely a few lines that I thought were vital.

Am I to send those anyway? Or perhaps do some arts and crafts to accomplish the last two words?

No need to be too literal.

Submit what is asked for and add anything else you think may be needed but just no need to send the actual “last word of message”

Struggling to see what others are referring to as a “disambiguation” though. I have both messages, and I think the correct items required by the submission instruction. What am I missing? Thanks

Surprised no-one has yet mentioned this is a homage* to a much earlier, famous Listener puzzle which had a very similar ending.

*homage, as in "daylight homage" or "The Great Train Homage"

Well, held up for some time by a wrong solution to 28a that fits the definition perfectly, and parses, IMHO, better than the required solution.

Has anyone else noted that one of the dedications will have to be submitted to Poste Restante?

There really is no need to letter count through the clues. Simply load the clues into Openoffice Calc with spaces and punctuation removed.

This was reminiscent of a Listener from long ago where the instruction was "erase everything, send blank", the easiest week Mr. Green never had.
