You need normal grid order (all the acrosses then all the downs).

You may be going 1, 2, 3 etc

I'll try again.
I assumed, as the grid has numbers....which jigsaws usually don't .

Struggled a bit with the endgame as I had a couple of ? for corrections. (Even now I know what the correction for 13a is, I can’t see how to apply it.)

But the disambiguation to establish what the dedications and message produce is clear and very appropriate. Thank you, Tiburon, a very nice tribute and I will be happy to follow the instruction.

I know that it is a statistical truism, but it still feels slightly weird that I could add “me too”!

Jack.. Re13ac- Change the second letter of the second word and the result is a synonym of the answer (hope so anyway!)

Thank you, Jordan. I was (perhaps inevitably given my moniker) fixated on the technical definition.

At the risk of seeming stupid (again) what does BRB refer to?

Thankyou for confirming that I am stupid!!!! And, wrt my initial rant, I had no idea that it was JG's special day as well - I think he deserve much more than suggested.

Can't see the last letter in 27d. Any help appreciated. Normally I'd spend a good while trying to figure it out myself but given the quirks of this particular puzzle I'm happy to get told.

Thanks

And I've spotted it. Had put the plural in for 39a instead of the singular. All clear now. Nice puzzle I thought, nice tribute, didn't mind the counting.

Novel way to help a bit with the fitting as well given clue number X had to have at least x letters in it.
