So I've been putting this down and picking it up on and off all day. Each time I get a few more but it's been a tough one. Good but tough. I've about 5 left. Is 9d the name of a composer? It's not coming easily if it is.

14d I'm not even getting how the clue works.

i'd never heard of 14d, but the clue works precisely. quiet is two letters, not one.
9d is a composer, but not a specific one.

Rocky, the word for "disreputable" in 14 is relatively uncommon.

Hi chrise and geeker. I'm figuring there must be something about both clues I'm not fully aware of. I think time for another break and hopefully finish with a beer in the garden later.

Never heard of either the accessory or the disreputable word in 14d. So I'll give myself a break there.

Wild is the anagrind. Ignore ‘with’
