41d - common crossword word for retreat with “the other king” gives a Northern word for holiday

Good morning! This is the first time I’ve done the puzzle in the hardcopy SAturday Times. It doesn’t seem to be where the other crosswords are – would someone kindly point this Yank to it?

All done and dusted, but I only see the thematic relevance of two of the anagrammed entries. Anyone worked out what's going on with the other two?

Not fully dusted, acornz - maybe you've not joined up the second lot of lines correctly.

Sorry, acornz - that last was posted too hastily. I misread your asking about the other two anagrammed answers for asking about the "other" two clash cells. I've no doubt you got that, and my apologies.

Finally limped over the line, having held myself up right royally by correctly identifying the clashes needed and then writing down two wrong ones -doh! I'm not entirely certain where misprint number 6 is but I can live with that.

Just seen number 6, all done now.
