For then second week running, the crossword is over 10 minutes late! Why am I so impatient!

Not for the first time in the last few weeks the puzzle is late. Murdoch may be old, but surely they've given the task of uploading it to someone younger by now. Not up at 1617.

Found this a bit tricky but 41d apart, it is all done. Cheers to Mr Snaky

41D - definition is first two words. There's a clash.

Thanks HW. I had the correct answer but couldn't get anywhere near parsing it and assumed it was probably wrong. A little sleep has worked wonders!

It's a long time since I did A-level Maths, but I can just about remember this bit. Done all the geometry, worked out the central cell, resolved the clashes, found 7 of the 20 cells ... but the other 13 elude me. I think I'm failing to find the one I did in A-level Physics.

Pretty much done but still can’t understand 5a ‘persistently annoying bears hang loose’ and 41 d northern holiday retreat with other king. I know there is a clash on 3rd letter. Also can’t find 2 of the anagrams! Send help please!
