My 2p opines that candledave came nowhere near to overstepping the line. Jordan's post #25 says it all. Oh, and I'm really struggling this week after the recent gentle offerings.

Fortunately the PDM occurred quite early on - and was needed to solve some of the clues.

FWIW I don't have any issue over CDs reply to the question, only that it was (as the poster made clear) possibly a little early to be asking. I don't think I've ever seen a carte blanche + jumbles and certainly wouldn't be champing at the bit to attempt one!

Andy- 5 letter word for a quiet road and an unusual 3 letter word for a region might help.

I can't see how you get the penultimate letter of the hindu's offering. I can see a way of generating the rest but think I must be barking up the wrong tree as I have that one letter left.

SH - Look up the penultimate and the antepenultimate letters of the word as a pair in the brb
