If you click on "edit" there is an option for you to select "newest post first" or "oldest post first".

I chose "newest post first" so number 1 is the latest and 5 oldest

To follow up last post- when not logged on I do not have any problems moving from page to page!

Thanks Jazzgirl, I do have the latest at the top but no First or Previous on that page to navigate back, except by pressing Next which takes me to Previous!

"Oldest post first" (page 1) is the default setting.
If you want the "newest post shown first" then click on "edit" and choose (see my last post)

You have the same as me, so page number 5 is the first post; and the newest is page 1

Yes Jazzgirl, the same as you but no page numbers and Next gives me Previous, Previous Gives Next, First gives Last and Last Gives First!!

If you want previous page, click on the next number which will be 2
