I think most of struggled with the parsing of 20a - thank heavens Mattrom was on hand to help us out:-)

Any more help on why solver and sheep sound similar, please

HI BBG,

If "the setter" is "I" then the solver is ??? and a (female) "sheep" is a ??? - these two words, though spelt different, are ???????????? of each other.

No problem, I had a similar blind spot with the Spoonerism - though that made it all the sweeter when the penny finally dropped:-)

Hi Brendan, having just joined the Forum, I find I cannot get the previous pages just next and last,
Am I missing a link?

In between where it says Next and Last and Previous at the top of the page you should see the page numbers - in this case 1,2,3,4,5.

Hi, bbg. Welcome. Those of us who have been here awhile have noted that the pages are ordered in reverse depending on whether you are logged in or not. So what you are seeing as "next" is probably what logically could be considered as "previous." Or you could use the page numbers as Brendan suggests.

No page numbers or Previous on last page, so pressed Next and arrived at Previous page.
Pressed Last and arrived at First!
