Nope, worked it out :)

I had a plural queen instead, which isn't even a word I think.

A nice solve today - helped by the fact we enjoyed 4 at book club last night and I used to work in the museum housing the Field Marshall’s car. Now time to return to the reality of a 21 15 who is 23 a 17 and hopefully won’t leave us needing to use 8s to make sure we’re not all a 11 - whilst his people are 10. (Sorry!)

Hi. Despite a correct guess based on the crossers and then staring at it through two cups of coffee, the parsing of 11A totally eludes me I’m afraid. The first and last letters I get, but I can’t see how the middle three letters relate to the clue. Any succour would be much appreciated!
