Fop, I know what you mean, for some reason there is a convention for apostrophes to not be shown in the enumeration, I’m not quite sure why

I found this enjoyable and fairly straightforward and didn’t need to resort to the forum for a change.
Looking for the rhyming pair helped.
I was held up by choosing the wrong anagram for 6a. Both answers would work.

I thought we'd got away without the word primarily , only to be dashed on the last one

I'm just stuck on 26a which is a shame as it sounds like a good clue from what's been said. I'll walk to the shops and mull it over.

I asked about 4D not because I don't have an answer I am just wondering if those are a feature Cupid famously has, otherwise I can't see the connection to Cupid?

26a splits into two words with R (omeo) in the middle. Definition China but not the country.
