Sorry can’t help ukridge. I have three thematics left to get. 36, 14, and 1.
Also 15d, which I guess is important. I just can’t see it, I have a Y to add somewhere. So any help appreciated.

Lumen, 36, def is first two words and 'terms' is indicating ends of subsequent words. That should get you there

Lumen, re 14 see Buzzbee's reply at 136, and I'd add that the term is more usually applied to a woman

Thanks I have got 36 now, and have filled 15d, resolving the theme. (Not clear on the parsing but leave that as its 'the theme'.)
I'm sure 14 and 1 will come to me before bedtime!

in 15 the extra letter, which you must have, goes in the fifth word of the clue and makes it an anagram indicator

I'd never have thought that word had a double M!
