I'm not entirely happy with 21d - does the answer really mean "wicked"?

Greetings fellow cruciverbalists.

Well I am on the verge of giving up on this one. Some progress in SE corner plus 2d and 10a so far.

Could do with some help with 11a and 13d please, which hopefully will open up more of the grid.

Hope all are doing well.

Hi FemmeNoire,

Very well thanks, hope you are too:-)

11a - The whole clue is based around John Travolta's iconic performance in Saturday Night Fever. 5 letters for the genre of music + single letter "mind originally" + 4 letter for the "stance" he strikes at the start of the dance - definition is "upset".

13d - Is a 3 letter "prayer" around an anagram/"recollecting" of 2 words in the clue - definition is "sinners supposedly" (the original ones?)

Thanks Brendan
Gosh I would never have got the Saturday Night Fever reference i have never seen that use of “recollecting” - there are just so many anagramisers to remember.

Thanks FemmeNoire, I know exactly what you mean. If I see a word in a clue that can in any way, shape, or form be related to movement, of any sort, my first thought is - anagram!

Hi Brendan,
I think I've had to guess the word and work backward to the parsing with almost every entry for this one.
Re 21d - I suppose they both mean 'sinning'

Hi Mattrom,

That was pretty much my approach too. I think this one is going to cause quite a bit of head scratching.

21d - I'm sure you're right about - Chambers has "wicked" as an adjective meaning "sinful" and the answer as an adjective as "straying from the truth" and as a verb is "to sin" - so fair enough.

Greetings one and all.
I found this tricky, and still wanting a few clues to be explained - though I am pretty sure of the answers, except.....4d
I have (I think) all the letters. -A-S-E- but can’t get it.
Are my letters right? And any hints?

(Otherwise COD for me was 6d, or 14ac)

I've not got very far, and am on the point of giving up. I seem to be in a minority by not generally liking Paul's puzzles.
I got the artist fairly quickly - I once went to an exhibition, in Chichester, I think - but it's an unfair clue; you have to know the artist to get the correct third letter, as it's not crossed and the wordplay is ambiguous.
