Hi Ethik,

2d - Is an anagram of the first two words after one of them has had its letter removed.

26a - Single letter for "Knight" + A and then a 4 letter "minor" reversed/"revolutionary" - definition is "German city".

It's a French phrase, (3,7).

It is a tricky one not least because it's French.

Remove E from H(e)AD and together with TENANTS they anagram to a 3, 7 afternoon dance/entertainment.

I have exchanged W... in column four with H... in bottom row leaving all real words. It's the next part that totally eludes me. Any hints would be appreciated. I know the final phrase.
Thanks

Same here. If the H... then decamps elsewhere leaving a big hole there are non-words all over the place, and where do the 4 new checked letters at the bottom come from? Or is that part of the game?
