Help please with the line drawing

I needed the wiki page synopsis for the straight lines, xwordfan ( the source is suggested by last letters of extra words).

thanks drxx ...ive done that bit at the bottom with 3 fill ins ...it's the 8 lines mentioned earlier....

I'm still trying to work out how the first six items are interpreted in the perimeter. The seventh is something I read ages ago so I need to remind myself of the story before attempting the lines.

always puzzled ..the 6th is the 2 worder and is the trickiest, the 4th is the easiest (top middle)....

whoops ..ive actually done the "8 lines bit" ..it's the 3 crooked lines and fill ins i'm stuck on...

Thank you for that xwordfan. It gives me something to work on. I assume that the fourth is a simple anagram but given the letters in 'nice canto in rhyme' that the others are not. As far as the eight lines etc are concerned I will look at that once I have the perimeter. Does the name of the property alluded to play a part?
