Can I just check that the unclued answer in column 12 uses both B's and is a 4 letter word repeated.

I still think I'm missing some of the extra letters. can you confirm (or not) that they extra are...

1a BB - 6a AA - 12a C - 26a O - 8d AA - 13a R?

The problem is that for the unknown in column 2 I've used an O (hypo....) but in the unknown in row 10 I've also used an O and an I (goit....) but I can't see where the I comes from and it means using the O twice. Also, where is the R in 13a used?

Brendan, there's an I taken off at the start of 13 A. I'll need to investigate the others...

Of course, I'd forgotten you'd mentioned that meaning of 'filibuster' - that ties everything up nicely.

If your 13across R becomes an I it all works. The O goes in column 2, the I is added to what you have in G...., row 10.
