missing the short from bottom row...must be a foreigner but i can't see it....

It's not a foreigner to me...but then again, I'm Scottish!

HELP!

After a very easy grid fill I'm struggling to understand what's going on. For instance I have KIRSCH in row 3 but am left with a clash at 16a and 13d. Similarly, I have COINTREAU in row 8 but have residual clashes at 30a and 27d and 30a and 28d. hmm

There are meant to be one misprint in every entry , so it's just a matter of sorting the classes to make sure that happens.

I have solved everything apart from the short in the bottom row. Can someone tell me where it starts.

At the third letter, Pentomino.

It begins with U and is a long word.

Scottish most likely.

Yes, Sunray - mentioned earlier, but I forgot to add that it might be Irish too.
