Brilliant nelson, I'd be lying to say I only chortled but it's much appreciated you volunteering your caper.

One corner's got me stumped.
Would be very grateful for help please.

35ac Stud's worry about sex in retirement
I have ?ATI?
Is it LATIN? - nail (stud) backwards - but T for sex? And Latin in retirement?

I may have gone wrong with the thematic character I inserted to give the T.

35 The 'stud' becomes something else. It's a usual two-letter word for 'sex' and a usual three-letter word for 'worry' . The 'sex' goes back, in retirement.

Nelson, poor you! I enjoyed visualising you toiling away at the puzzle, with your bewilderment increasing as you went along.
