Pretty good. Got the eleven letter answe before I finally figured out what was going on with the wraparounds. Couple of loose ends (as ever):

14 I have a word meaning foundation but don’t see the wordplay
12 seems to be an anagram with foed removed, but how do you put an e into food to get another word?
29 seems to mean sparkling, but using the r I can only get sparking, which doesn’t seem very satisfactory.

Appeciate someone pointing out what I’m missing

Thanks

14 I took it that the answer was just defining all the parts of the clue - the foundation, the 'low' (not 'now), the base.

14. As Malone gives now => low,
Foundation noun, low in place adjective (straight from Chambers)
12. Grid
29. Spark (again straight from Chambers) a glowing or glittering particle ... so aglitter/sparking

14 makes sense now thanks. 29 is weak in my view, sparking isn’t an adjective as far as I can see. Don’t understand 12.

Ah, feod, I see. Looked for that and couldn’t find it earlier. Thanks.

12. The strange word 'feod' replaces 'food' - Ginge mentioned it earlier.
