s_pugh, I'm wondering which 5 letters you saw that gave you the revelation?
I've filled the grid, found the message, but can't see what I'm supposed to be looking for. I have a theory of what the word is, based on the entry method, but it doesn't seem to be there. Any clues?

Surely there is an unresolved ambiguity in exactly which letters are to be highlighted in the end game, or am I being thick?

I don’t see any ambiguity in the end game. All very neat and no need for intense grid staring.

The first 2 letters can be highlighted in different ways, surely it is an assumption that it has to be a straight line - although that makes common sense.

Well spotted Gitto. Not dense but perhaps over-thinking?
