My last one ( which I assume is a theme word, one I’ve never heard of) seems ok but I can’t parse it. The second part of the clue suggests the precursor to prison but the first part?
58A Because of this, shock treatment is held inside (8)
?E?T?N?E. Help, please!

On last 3 - think if I get 42d - Quantum and poor Louisa exchanging partners in the wind (7) ????L?N I might be able to finish! Thanks for your help! (presumptuous of me, I know)

Spoke too soon - 48a Schumann regularly takes in Biggles and islander (5) ?U?E?. Several words fit the pattern but can't parse to the clue! Thanks again.

Thanks kirky. I had considered that answer, but I couldn't find that name as a crossword setter anywhere!

Hi Liz

I'm having real rouble with this crossword, but the answer to this one was one of my first in. Take the first letter from Biggles and insert it in the alternate even letters of Schumann. I think it will then be obvious.
