An approximation to iambic pentameter, MandyRob, and I suppose the final entry for 1D 'roughly' indicates that. If your entry (6,5) is an anagram of the initial entry, then very likely it is correct.

Thanks Mandyrob0704 @116. My working Chambers is too old for that one, but Mr Google had it, and it's in the shiny TCD normally out of bounds on the shelf. I seem to be finished. How on earth does anyone start designing something like this?

There is a kindle version of Bradford. (If you don't have a kindle, you can still get the free app for ipad, phones etc)

Thanks Mersault I got an extra bonus then by figuring out the original 1d entry which is brilliant!! I had got the right phrase but didn’t know it was right - much more satisfying to know it’s right. Thanks again

Annoyingly, I just can't see the falcon(?) that is revealed by the final change from R to L.

Help?

gem94 - I have search the App store for 'Bradford' but can't find it. What is it called? Maybe it is unavailable outside the UK?

Buzzb - it is sold by amazon, and you would need to download the (free) kindle reading app from amazon. This is the link to amazon.co.uk. I'm not sure what the situation is if you want to get it from outwith the uk.
