Elle, her Dad is taking her.
No, Father's Day is quiet with me, but I also get a card on Mother's Day, too.
That is good you go to cemetery. Me too.
My broadband has been on the blink this evening, but a very nice man (with a heavy cold) in India has switched the broadband to a less congested channel and it is fine now.
Been watching the golf.
This course should not be hosting a Major!

I make it just 7/8 new crossword threads today, unless we get a rush before midnight.
Not so good.

Can I rephrase my post 788, please?
From,
"The young ones are all very articulated and polite"'
to,
"The young ones are all very articulate(d) and polite".
I think that makes more sense?
I await an opinion from the educated folk!

Hi Rusty,

Do you mean they move like puppets on a string?

Lovely morning here, what is it like your end?

Could be useful to be articulated if their trollies were particularly long

.......but they have caddies instead.

Good Morning, Rusty!
A dull very humid day - extremely warm whilst we were out earlier with the dog - I think thunderstorms may be on their way!
We were planning to take our grandson to the park after we've all had lunch, but that may turn out to be a literal 'washout'!
(I am puzzled why you also get a card on Mothers' Day?)
What do you have planned for today? I'm assuming the golf is still ongoing? You and Chris seem to be setting the world to rights over that! I must say - and I speak with no knowledge whatsoever! - that the course as you describe it does sound to be very inferior?
Don't forget if you have the time that there is Athletics on too this afternoon !

Hello, Elle!
We have cloudy weather. Don't think it will rain.
No mystery about the card, Elle.
We are a one parent family.
Boys always said I was Mum and Dad to them.
I have been out, and now home for the day.
Will watch a bit of Royal Ascot and the golf in the evening.
Chambers Bay looks half finished. the bunkers have grey sand in them. I have seen two players putt into bunkers! It is not Muirfield or St Andrews!
But my man Monty has made the cut, so a small profit there!
I shall look in on the Athletics, too.

Rusty, I think it's great that your sons think like that about you - it shows what a fantastic job you've done in bringing them up.
Got go now...we have to drive over to Welling in Kent (in the new car!! it's like having a new toy!!) to meet up with our daughter and family.
Have a good day, talk later......
