Hi, Rusty!
Yes, my son has a degree in hospitality and hotel management, and has recently been head-hunted to work at one of the larger London hotels.
He is greatly looking forward to this.
He works hard; co-ordinating work, and having his daughter to stay with him whenever possible.
Otherwise, she lives with her mum and younger half -brother.
The curry was very good!

Hello, Elle!
Your son is doing very well for himself!
You must be very proud of him!
Long time since I had a curry.
I tend to avoid spicy food.
Now I told you about the girl on the ceilidh show, who was a great choirmistress, singer, and dancer.
Her name is Joy Dunlop, here she is doing her day job!

Good morning, Rusty!
A drizzly, mildish morning here!
Very muddy underfoot in the fields, as it rained hard all night.
Yes, our son is doing very well now, having rung the changes somewhat, for a time, throughout his career.
He started off , after Uni, in hotel management.
Then he worked ( in a vaguely similar capacity) on a cruise ship; liked the idea of being at sea, so joined the Merchant Navy.
He did that for a few years and then decided to come back on land, and continue his career in hotel management!
He seems well settled in this now, and has worked at a few well -known hotels.
I watched your clip abut Joy Dunlop, "doing" the weather!
A very versatile young lady by all accounts!
What are you up to, today?

Good morning, Elle!
Lovely day here, and the wind has dropped!
I have been out most of the morning, but home now.
Had a couple of wee tasks to perform.
My grandson is calling after work today!
Your son has done very well, including being in the Merchant Navy!
I don't know where Joy gets the hours in the day!
She is a singer, has just released a CD (in Gaelic), she's in a band, she is a choirmistress, an excellent step dancer, she does the weather on BBC Alba, in Gaelic, and on BBC Scotland, in English, and is on the radio, too!
Quite a few arrows to her bow!

Hi, Rusty!
It is a lovely day here, too, now!
Who would have thought it after the miserable start?
I have been out but briefly this afternoon with the dog, having had a lot to do here at home.......but dog and I both need some exercise if we are to keep fit!
I walk......she runs!
She must cover at least twice the distance that I do......and I do several miles in a day.
My younger daughter has just phoned ...she is working from home today, so rang in a self-designated coffee break, rather than on her way home from the office.
This week has seemed odd....... I thought Thursday felt like Monday .......very confusing with these "holidays" in the middle of the week.
It will be good to see your grandson.

Hello, Elle!
I get mixed up with the days, too!
Yes, my grandson will be here soon.
Just watched the first episode of "Wild Atlantic Way" and it was very good.
Anne Lundon presents it, and she is travelling North.
Was Cork and Kerry in the first episode.
Great to see her conversing in Scots Gaelic and the Irish folk speaking Irish!
And she is a weather presenter, too!

Good evening, Rusty!
Thank you for the article.
I am glad that you are enjoying the "Wild Atlantic Way"!
I wish I were able to watch it.
My daughter and husband, with BB and YB, are hoping to travel along it perhaps next Summer.
My son -in-law's family on his mother's side mostly live in Waterford....so they could start from Cork and travel up.....
I know someone who has just moved back to Ireland, and he and his wife are setting up a B & B along the Wild Atlantic Way!
My daughter and family could maybe stay with him en route.
That would be good.
I hope you and your grandson have had a good catch up?

Hello, Elle!
Had a good time with my grandson!
I think your daughter would enjoy the Wild Atlantic Way.
I am able to watch the first episode on this link to BBC iPlayer.
See if you can get it?
Or if not, click on "Clips".
Anne is travelling in a camper van.

Hi, Rusty!
Thank you so much for the link!
I have access to BBC iplayer already set up, so it is no problem to watch the "Wild Atlantic Way" on it.
I have tried it out and it certainly works fine, so I shall save it and watch it sometime tomorrow.
I'm presuming I shall be able to watch the following episodes, similarly?
That will be great!

Hello, Elle!
That's splendid!
I hoped you could see it on iPlayer.
I liked the story of the sunken ship from the Spanish Armada.
The next episode is next Wednesday.
Give you time to brush up on your Gaelic...or Irish!
No, but the first episode is very good I thought.
