Hi, Rusty!
We now have a weak, watery sun peeping out ....he may put his hat on later.
I was disappointed with today's Everyman.....much too easy...and with far too many anagrams.
Ah well! like buses, there will be another one along later.....
I don't (she says hopefully /trustingly ) foresee any particular problems with the grocery deliveries.......
Sainsbury's have said that if they do not have an item, then rather than leave the customer without , they will bring a close alternative - which one is entitled to refuse.
That sounds sensible to me?
Anyway, it is not as though I have any choice in the matter.....
I simply cannot carry the bulky and / or heavy goods home.
I am not ordering any perishable foods.....such as fruit or veg, and meats.
I prefer to go down to the shop and choose these for myself.
But they will not be heavy, and I can walk there and back.
Well done, Mikaela!
Keep it up!

Hello, Elle!
I think your Sainsbury delivery is a sound idea.
Be interesting to hear how it goes.
"Wonder Woman" Mikaela has won again!
Petra Vlhova in second and Michelle Gisin third.
Great competition.
Tricky conditions, too.
Icy for the first part, then snow on the bottom part, and a very steep course.

Hi, Rusty!
I have had a wander down to the High Street......yes, to Sainsbury's!..... in search of some fruit.
We are down to just oranges and plums!
The shelves were still surprisingly empty of fresh produce...... perhaps hordes of ravenous folk had descended upon the store before I got there!
I bought some grapes and cherries. and a few other bits and bobs.
I looked at my receipt to check on the Nectar points, since you were asking about their worth.
As of now, we have over 13, 000 points, , giving us £68 - 60 to spend!
So yes, I think this is well worth having?
There is no cut-off date. either, so the money can be accumulated and spent when we wish.
Right, we have not yet had any lunch.......
So I am now about to make some sandwiches and heat up the tomato soup!

Good evening, Elle!
That's quite a tidy sum you have earned from your Nectar points!
Just been watching Christmas Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,
Very entertaining!
I think the series restarts in the new year some time.

Good evening, Rusty!
Are you still liking Jeremy Clarkson as host of "Millionaire"?
I was unsure when I once watched it......but perhaps he "grows" on you?
I was pleased to hear that both "The Voice :UK" and "Cold Feet" are shortly coming back...
I enjoy both these programmes.
Three of the coaches on "The Voice" remain the same....Will.i.am; Sir Tom Jones ; and Olly Murs.
With Megan Trainor replacing Jennifer Hudson.
Do you know Megan Trainor?
I have never heard of her?

Hello, Elle!
Yes, I like Jeremy Clarkson on Millionaire.
The only one of those you mention who I know is Tom Jones.
It is getting very windy here!

Hi, Rusty!
You would know James Nesbitt though, I am sure, who is in Cold Feet.
One of my favourite programmes.
I have no cousin to phone tonight, as she is away with one of her daughter's and family, for a few days over the New Year.
I hope they have good weather...dry, if nothing else!
No wind here.....
Cold and sunny forecast for tomorrow.

Hello, Elle!
I know of James Nesbitt, the actor, but I don't know Cold Feet.
Is it a television programme?
It is dry here, but quite windy.
Nothing desperate, but it's blowing!

Good morning, Rusty!
It is a beautiful day here!
Cold, but with bright blue sky and sunshine.
Perfect for walking!
I hope your winds have died down overnight?
I have nothing specific lined up for today......just take it as it comes.
How about you?
