Hi, Rusty!
I was very lucky and just beat the rain.
We are suffering very heavy showers, along with intermittent bursts of sunshine.
Home again, I am now watching the Athletics........
Lynsey Sharp is out of the 800m......she needed to come within the top three in her heat in order to qualify automatically for the Semi finals, but only came fourth.
And as it was the slowest run heat, she did not qualify as a fastest loser.
She is not a happy bunny!
The Men's 100m heats are going on at the moment....
Justin Gatlin is attempting to defend his title...... he won his heat comfortably.
Adam Gemili, and Zharnell Hughes are both through to the Semis......
Another heat just coming up in a minute....!
How is the cycling going?
I hope the Yorkshire weather is better than it is here!

Been a bit rainy here, too.
I have not had the cycling on.
My son was here, so no TV on.
The important bike races are, the women tomorrow, and the men on Sunday.
These will have my full attention.
Sunday in Yorkshire will be rainy, so dodgy conditions for Peter Sagan, Lou-Lou etc.
I can't be doing with Lynsey Sharp.
Wonder when Laura Muir runs?
She has been out with a calf injury, so maybe she won't go as well as we hoped.

I've been watching the U23 road race with interest, as I know the roads well (though not on my bike.....)
Sunday comes as close to me as all week, at Skipton. I think I'll watch it on TV, though.

A pity about the weather forecast, Chris.
The race is 177 miles, so a long wet day in the saddle!

Yes - I'm supposed to be golfing in the morning, but I'm hoping for a cancellation!

Yes, was fine seeing my young lad.
They liked the house.
It needs a bit doing to it, but they are fine with that.
Poor crowds at the athletics.
I am not surprised, though, considering where they are held.
I don't know anybody who likes Lynsey Sharp.
What does "over the U" mean?
I am looking forward to the elite women racing tomorrow.
Lizzie Armitstead is looking for a home win on her own turf, but the Dutch girls are good!

Ah, a missing "K", I get you.
I think they may make a bid for the house.
It is "sealed bids" only, to be opened next week, I think.
La Bamba approves of the house.
She went with them to see it.
I may try and find a schedule for the athletics for next week.
So I can watch the events that interest me.
It is disappointing to see so many empty seats at the championships, but not surprising.
The marathon will be torture in that heat.

My new TV guide seems reasonably informative about the Athletic events, in that it says what is taking place each day
But it doesn't give an actual timetable though, which I presume is what you are looking for?
It would certainly be handy.
