A bright sunny day here, too; a tad cooler than of late.
I had a very breezy invigorating walk!
Yes, we had some interesting "adventures" whilst we were n Africa, back in the late 1970s.
We were invited to a ceremonial dinner, whilst in Khartoum, to meet the Pope , but couldn't accept, as we were leaving the day before the Pope arrived!
The flights to where we were going were very infrequent, and we had already waited four days for a connection......so didn't want to hang around in the city any longer.
I have a delivery coming today......I am just waiting on receiving my hour time slot.
I hope the parcel arrives this morning .

"Eggheads" was cancelled this evening in favour of showing Andy Murray!

Yes, my son was here last night.
Andy Murray seems to be pain free, now.
His operation seems to be a big success.
I did not see any of his match but it is encouraging to see him progress.

Yes, it is good that Andy's operation seems to have been successful.
I am glad that he is still able to play and did not need to retire from the game, after all.
Feliciano Lopez, Andy's Doubles partner, is playing in the Quarter Finals today.
I have a good run of tennis coming up........
Queens now, Eastbourne next week, and then, after that, Wimbledon!
And hopefully, some Athletics thrown in!
You will have been enjoying the racing at Ascot.

I watched a bit Lopez's match.
I like him!
Queen's seems to be a good venue?
Looks nice and traditional, I think.
I have enjoyed Ascot, but no good fortune with my bets.

I caught the end of Lopez's match when I came in...…..
He beat Raonic and now goes on to play Felix Auger Aliassime, who put out the young Greek player, Stefanos Tsitsipas.
I was surprised by this last, as I would have expected Tsitsipas to win the match.
Feliciano Lopez and Andy Murray are playing Dan Evans and Ken Skupski ( both Brits) this evening...
The match starts in five minutes!
Yes, Queen's Club is a good venue...the grass courts are a good run-in for Wimbledon.
Maybe you will have better luck with your racing bets tomorrow!

For a minute I thought Feliciano Lopez was running at Ascot tomorrow!
The favourite in the first race is called "Lope Y Fernandez"!
I may have a bet tomorrow.
My hero, Willie Mullins, has a horse running.

I didn't watch the tennis......but I see from the online blurb that Andy Murray and Feliciano Lopez's match was suspended due to failing light....
And just when Dan Evans looked like levelling the score at one set all!
It seems rather hard on Lopez who will now have to finish the Doubles match tomorrow........and also play his Semi final match on the same day?
Jamie Murray and the other Skupski brother lost !
Maybe you need to have a bet on "Lope Y Fernandez"!
The similarity of the names may be a sign?

Update on the tennis.....
Lopez will play his Singles Semi-final match second on Centre court today......then he and Andy Murray will complete their (suspended) Doubles match against Dan Evans and Ken Skupski.
Should they win that, Lopez will have to play a third match in succession , against Kontinen and Peers.
The poor man will be exhausted and surely hardly able to play at his best?
