Good morning, Rusty!
A very wet day here...raincoat and wellies needed!
I had a very poggy dog to clean and dry when I arrived home from my walk.
Yes, I replied to Outlook's message.....
I did tell them (politely) that they were incompetent and ill-informed ..and queried whether they ever spoke to each other, or checked the previous correspondence for details!!
I am going to ring the Microsoft telephone number that I originally contacted (it was a staff member there, who told me that I needed to contact the service engineers) and see what they have to say about the situation......
After all, I do have a "Reference number" so they cannot plead ignorance of the matter.
My daughter will come over here next Sunday, so hopefully we shall sort out a viable alternative then.
She seems to favour Webmail (accessed on the Internet through a Web Browser) rather than using an email client?

Hello, Elle!
Fine day here, but we've had several downpours, too!
A good idea to 'phone Microsoft, quote the reference number, and ask if they can expedite your problem to someone who can fix it.
And, have you thought of emailing the CEO of Microsoft or Outlook?
That can bring results.
Obviously the CEO will have people reading his/her emails, but who knows.....nothing to lose!
I am certain your daughter knows the best solution for you, much better than me.
My needs are simple, and BT Mail and BlueMail are fine for me.

Update, Elle!
You may like to consider this.
This is how to go about contacting the CEO, Satya Nadella, of Microsoft.
No harm in firing off an email to him?https://www.ceoemail.com/s.php?id=ceo-9946

Hi, Rusty!
Well, phoning Microsoft got me absolutely nowhere!
It took me twenty minutes to rouse a "human", who then was of no use whatsoever ......apart from telling me that my case was closed as " the issue has been resolved".
Oh , really?
He then offered to talk me through contacting the "service engineer"!
Obviously he had not been listening to a word I was saying......I have been in contact with said service engineer(s) for the last ten days!
Been there, done that , bought the T-shirt...all to no avail!
I then asked for a postal address or telephone number of someone in higher authority whom I might contact......
He said he didn't know, but I might find it online!
I decided to thank him for his input .....and say goodbye........

So....thank you very much for the link, Rusty.......
I shall try putting the Microsoft CEO in "My Contacts" list, and then maybe I might be able to receive a reply should he/she think fit to answer me.
Yes, well worth a shot.
Again, thank you!

Have you taken the Screenshot to a computer repair shop? There is just a chance that it might be more productive than depending on Outlook to actually make a suggestion.

Hello, Kenyatta, I am afraid that I may not be explaining this very well......
There is no point in my taking anything anywhere, because what is "missing" is part of the "official" Outlook/Hotmail format...…..the site's Junk, Drafts, Sent Items and Deleted Items boxes.
These are out of my jurisdiction.
Only Outlook can sort this out.....

As I thought I had said before, I had the same problem with Outlook folders disappearing and it was eventually solved with one click.
If a repair man saw the screenshot he might, I repeat, might be able to show you the button to click.
It is, of course, entirely up to you.

Update, Rusty!
I am back in the dry again!
It is raining cats, dogs, and pink elephants here!
Now......further to my earlier post, yes, I have written to the Microsoft CEO at the email address you kindly gave me.
Honour is now satisfied!
I shall move on........
What have you been up to?
Are you watching the cycling?

Hello, Elle!
Great weather here!
Well done on contacting the CEO.
Be interesting to see what he replies!
I think Kenyatta's suggestion is sound.
Most computer shops do diagnostic checks for free.
No cycling for me today.
Me and my old bones were on the roof fixing an old cable that was rattling in the wind.
All done now.
I am watching a bit of the football.
Argentina v Japan women's match.

Good evening, Rusty!
And you and your old bones were both equally foolish to go climbing up on the roof!
Your family would have a fit!
I thought you didn't like heights anyway?
My daughter phoned as usual on her way home, so we had a nice chat.
She has booked for us all to go to the Toby Carvery for lunch on Sunday, as it is Fathers' Day!
My husband will be especially pleased, as, on Sundays, roast lamb is also served on their menu!
That is his favourite meat!
The grandchildren, too, will be excited, as they love going there.
We shall look forward to the occasion!
