We are the reverse.......it has been freezing cold today ......minus 1 this morning!
But a glorious day none- the -less with bright blue sky and sunshine.
It was good to be out - and - about.
Yes, we shall miss BB now that he has gone home!
It will certainly be quieter.
I have rather got out of the habit of doing the crossword over the last couple of days!

So far the Winter has been a good one.
Very little snow up here.
Now that BB is getting bigger he may want to spend more time with you and your husband?

We had a brisk invigorating walk!
I have a parcel being delivered between 10.15 and 14.15, so just made it home in time to fit the earlier end of the scale!
I have a bit of paperwork to sort ,and some online ordering to do... and then the day is mine!

I got myself a new calculator in ASDA.
Just a small basic one, for £2.50.
I was chuffed!
I meant to tell you that Jenny Meadows was scheduled to be on Celebrity Mastermind on TV last night.
I have not heard of the other three celebrities who were on with her!
I may have recorded it, along with Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

I have a strong suspicion that my idea of "cold" might well be your idea of "mild"?!
We are certainly not as stoical down South , as you Northerners are, regarding the weather!
Well done on getting yourself a new calculator.
That is something I have never even used, let alone owned!
And speaking of modern technology.......very sadly my daughter has declared my Hudl finally to be defunct.
It had a new lease of life for a while, when I got a new battery for it, but now it is as dead as a dodo!
Daughter says she might have an old one I can have.
I am sorry I missed Jenny on Mastermind....I always liked her....
I wonder what her specialist subject was?

It is usually a bit colder up here.
Miss O is always on the hunt for calculators for her schoolwork.
I use one, but not regularly.
The one I had was solar powered and many years old, but the display was quite faded, so it was time to replace it.
A pity about your Hudl.
Mine still works, though I mostly use my Samsung tablet.
Jenny's special subject was Rugby League football.
She came last!
It was someone off a cooking show that won, but I do not know her name.
I still have "Millionaire" to watch.
And my old hero, Fats Domino, has a documentary on Sky Arts.
I am recording it.

I am hopping mad!
I have waited in all morning until now, expecting delivery of my parcel, supposedly coming within a two hour time slot of 10.14 to 14.14 , only to find that Royal Mail have sent an online message to say that they tried to deliver at 11.25am and no one was in!
Talk about an out- and- out lie!
Seemingly they will try again on Monday!
I have sent them a steaming email, saying that I now expect my delivery fee to be refunded!
Grrrh!
I do not watch "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", although I have seen the programme once or twice, and know how it works.
I think Jeremy Clarkson hosts it now?
