Hello Rusty,

Thanks for the link - No, I had not seen it either.

I am getting angrier and angrier at the webcam folks!
They may have problems, but they had so many weeks to resolve them! Even though they were low in staff!
I wish they would explain the black screen at night - perhaps
confirm that it their own doing?

The Loch site is very user unfriendly.
I have just fired off another email to them.
I told them they have had months to sort out the webcam and it is still not right, and I will find another osprey site to follow.
I am not expecting a reply!

I fully understand your anger!
I think the webcam is switched off, though the squirrel webcam is working.
I have emailed Christy again, but I do not expect a reply.
Told them they have had months to fix/replace the webcam and I have had enough.
I am going to find another site.

I am sorry that you are so annoyed and upset!
And I fully agree with you and understand your anger,
But for me......I don't want to watch different ospreys......
I want to watch Lassie and Laddie!
I have invested time and interest in following their progress and exploits.
Following another osprey website will just not suffice.....
I would prefer that the Rangers remedy matters, and we stuck to our "own" ospreys.
I shall be upset if I cannot do this!
Ok, rant over!
Now.......I failed to stay awake during "The Voice"!
My husband says he tried in vain to awaken me, but I wouldn't respond!
Oh dear!
I shall have to record tomorrow's "Repeat", whilst we are out with the family!

I am not upset, but I am a tad annoyed at the lack of progress on the webcam.
I have sent many emails which have not made a scrap of difference.
It is only a few hours since they posted that the webcam is working now, and it is not.
Maybe time Jonathan was back!

Well, I shall feel a bit upset and disappointed, if I am not going to be able to follow Lassie and Laddie this year.....besides being a tad cross!
To where did you send your emails of complaint?
Were they just general "contact" emails........or did you use their special "complaints" email address?
Not that it should really make any difference...they should still respond appropriately .

I address the email to the last person who emailed me.
Today it was Christy.
I send them to the Loch of the Lowes email address.
I did not realise they had a "complaints" address.
Not a very good advert for the site, surely?
They normally respond, but I have just told them I am out of patience with them, and have given up on them, so I do not see them replying to me.
Time to move on!

Hello Elle and Rusty!

I have just sent them another mail voicing my anger - and
threatening them to write to The Courrier (who did an article
about them) and tell them how inefficient they, in fact, really
were!

I also asked several questions and said I hoped they would have
the curtesy to send me a reply!

Had to get it out of my system......!

I would imagine they have received many emails about their tardiness.
I sure hope you get a reply and explanations.
I think this nonsense with the webcam has been going since before Christmas?

Strange goings on at the loch.
I am getting a "live" picture on my tablet (Android)
But a "black screen" on my laptop (Google Chrome)
Head scratching stuff!
