I am getting more than a little annoyed with them at the Loch!

One day they say in the blog that they are ready for the new
season, but yet they seem incapable to get the camera to
work!

My picture at present is a 'photo' of either Lassie or Laddie on
the nest in the daytime last year - is that what you have Rusty?

PS - We are due rain and thunderstorms every now and then
too, but with temps in the 17C-18C for tomorrow!

The thunderstorms for which we had a yellow alert never
arrived!

Hello, Pigale!
Yes, that is the picture I have.
I have emailed them again suggesting they switch cameras with the squirrels.
I have only seen a squirrel once on the webcam.
The thing to remember is, the webcam has to be working before the birds arrive.
It is a criminal offence to disturb nesting ospreys, so if the birds get here and it is not working, it's goodnight Irene, I think!

Good morning, Pigale,
I have emailed Christy again.
There is a picture showing but I can not tell yet, if it is a recording or not.
It looks a bit dark and there is snow in the background.
I saw the squirrel today.
First for a long time!

Good morning, Rusty!
Wet here.......
We are waiting a while (till late morning) before going out, although personally I cannot see the weather improving,
The rain looks set for the day!
I logged in and checked on the osprey website about half an hour ago.
Strangely I had a picture of the loch and part of what appears to be the osprey nest......
It is not a still picture as the trees are moving in the wind?
If not live...could it be a video?
I am about to make an early start on the crossword - how about that!
What time is Miss O collecting you for your trip to the Pine Cone?

Good morning from dreich Tayside, Elle!
I am not certain that picture is live.
I emailed them earlier expressing displeasure at the lack of progress with a fairly simple webcam.
There is an article in my local paper "Weekend" supplement about the work at the loch.
A lot more than I realised!
I can not find it on line, yet, though.
It is called "How to Create a Heaven on Earth".
It is part of the "Out and About" series by Gayle Ritchie, if you want to look for it?
Miss O is collecting me at 11.
We shall have a wee celebration!
Miss O has completed her probationary year teaching and has accepted a permanent full time teacher's job in Perth.
She is chuffed! So is auld Granddad!

Hi, Rusty!
I have just received a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day from my elder daughter!
I have arranged them in a vase, and they are now standing in pride of place on the piano!
How nice of her!
I have been searching online for your article, but cannot find it....
I have found info about Gayle Ritchie, but nothing relevant to the loch.
I may not be feeding in the right words, but I have tried various approaches!
I have completed - bar four parsings - today's 15 x 15 puzzle....
A nice one, I thought?
Congratulations to Miss O on successfully completing her probationary period!
She will be delighted to be able to continue in her post at the school, as she likes it and is very happy there!
Well done!
Enjoy your celebration at the Pine Cone!

Hello, Elle,
Maybe Gayle's article is not online yet?
I looked at her Twitter feed, and she says it is posted on the 17th March?
That is next week!
Does not quite make sense!
My puzzle is done, too.
I thought it on the easy side today?
I do not like 5a!
Yes, Miss O likes her school!
I am looking forward to seeing her.
La Bamba is up in Aberdeen for the weekend!

Hi, Rusty!
I always think Saturday's puzzles are easier than the weekly ones......
Yet it doesn't make sense, as those are the Prize ones.
5a (pawnshop) is one of the four that I still have to parse!
I am working on them.......
My favourites are century; deliverance and caballero.
"Caballero" reminds me of Bing singing "The Three Caballeros"!
I think he sang it with the Andrews sisters?
Right, I must away......the rain has stopped, the sun is saying a weak hello.......
And it is time to go for a walk!
Have fun with Miss O!

Hi Elle and Rusty,

Hope you are having a great time with Miss O, Rusty!

I have just watched the Webcam for the last 10mns, and I am sure
it is a recording!
The same tree movements happen at the same intervals, I cannot
hear the noise of trees moving in the wind (and yet I have my microphone on maximum), and at the bottom of the picture, I
can still see the cursor moving slowly from left to right.

They think they can fool us and I find this despicable! Why don't they
tell us the truth?
