Good morning, Elle!
No snow here!
I have been finding out a bit about who was popular in Germany!
It is David Hasselhoff.
His popularity is on the wane in the USA, but he is very popular in Germany and Austria.
I knew I'd read this somewhere a year or two ago!

Good morning, Pigale!
How is your weather?
Not too bad here!
Yes, a good link to the Loch Arkaig ospreys.
A nice little film about them, I thought.
Loch of the Lowes, take note!
I shall look for Taylor's career etc sometime today, too.
Glad she is a success!

Good morning, Rusty!
No snow here either!
In fact, it is a lovely day! Supposedly only minus1 C, but I haven't been out to test that yet..........
My plan is to take the dog out for a short (ish) walk about midday.
Yes, you were right about David Hasselhoff.......is that a German name? it sounds it?
Yes, have a read up about Taylor.......she seems to have been very busy young lady.
I am enjoying a really nice cup of coffee....... my squirrels are peering up at me through the window.........they have already had "breakfast".........
I shall take a look at the crosswords.........

Hello, Elle!
3°C here.
Less cold than other parts of the country.
A short walk sounds a good plan!
Hasselhoff is a German surname but I do not know how it translates to English?
You'd wonder at his popularity in Germany?
Ah well, each to their own!
I have not looked at my puzzle yet.

Hi, Rusty!
I have just taken a quick peep at our weather forecast and it is not looking good!
Nor am I liking the look of the sky now.....there is a distinct yellowish tone.......
So I have decided to go out now before anything dire happens..........!
I shall be back in a bit!

Good morning Elle and Rusty,

It is something like 0C here, no snow although a great portion
of France had an orange warning for snow and black ice. It is
very grey outside, but I personally don't think it is a 'snow sky'
yet.

I know the Loch site quite well since I kept a regular eye on
Lassie and Laddy; Just had a look and the nest web cam is NOT
working! It is a still picture, towards the top is a trail (perhaps
left by a swan or a duck) and that trail was there in exactly the
same spot yesterday and the day before! Nothing is moving.
The squirrel camera is working but, as you say, it is not a very
clear picture.
I had an answer from Nicky though - I thought it was very quick!
He apologised and said that both cameras were working now, so I mailed him back and told him what I have just mentioned.

Hope you wrapped up well Elle!!!

Hello, Pigale!
No snow here, so far, though it is forecast!
I know the "trail" you are seeing on the Loch and that is my reference point, too!
Think it is the wake of a swimming duck.
The camera is definitely not working.
I have not had a reply from Christy so far, to yesterday's email that I sent her.
In fairness to them, there will be less staff working during the Winter until nearing the time the ospreys return.
So probably pretty busy!

Hi, Rusty!
It was good to be out walking....
I only covered about a half of my usual trek...and at a much slower pace than usual, but I enjoyed the fresh air!
It was definitely sensible to have gone out at a later hour...the temperature had risen to 4C by the time I went out...and there wasn't that damp chill to the air.......
One or two other folk had had similar thoughts and gone out later...so there were people and dogs about.
It wasn't too lonely.......
How about you? Have you been out and about today?

Yes, Pigale!
I wrapped up really well...
You name it....
I wore it......... honestly!
The fresh air did me good!

Good afternoon, Elle!
You were right to walk not so far, and be well wrapped.
Only sensible!
I was at ASDA early on but am home for the day.
My grandson is visiting after tea before he goes to play 5 a side football!
I made my firstest ever "smoothie" today.
I used milk, plain yogurt, custard, banana and kale.
It was fine!
I'll have a look in ASDA tomorrow for other ingredients.

Hi, Rusty!
Well, you are one up on me......... I have never made a smoothie!
It sounds a healthy option?
I drink mostly water though........
Although having said that.........I have just had a broccoli and cauliflower cuppa soup - and delicious it was , too!
Also nice and warming!
I may have a yoghurt.......
My online pet food delivery has just arrived -- well ahead of schedule.
I am very pleased!
I had nearly let the dog run out of food whilst I have been ill......
She would never have forgiven me!
It will be nice to see your grandson.
