Hi, Rusty!
I have cut my fringe..........the dog and I were beginning to look too alike!
This is the trouble when one has a shaggy dog!
I have a good evening's viewing ahead of me, once we have had dinner.......
It is my favourite show......"The Voice : UK"...... tonight....
And I shall be recording "Casualty" to watch later!
I even completed two crosswords today....the Times Cryptic and the Jumbo GK.
So getting back on track.....!
I am looking forward to the Everyman tomorrow!
Still raining here.......

Hello, Elle!
I could be doing with a trim myself!
You did two crosswords!
Very good.
One is plenty for me.
Well, just for a wee change, I took myself out for my tea!
A Saturday treat!
You have rain?
It is fair here.
No sign of the promised ice and snow.
The webcam at the Loch is on the blink again!
I am going to have a browse on YouTube to see what I can find!

Hi, Rusty!
That was a great idea.......going out for your tea!
Where did you go.......
And what did you have?
We had Beef in Black Bean sauce with Egg-Fried rice....courtesy of Sainsburys!
Delicious!
It is good to have my appetite back.
I really feel on the road to recovery, now that I can eat again!
Right..... time now for my programme.......

Hello, Elle!
I walked to a pub not too far away.
I sat at the bar gossiping, and had a beefburger and chips and coffee, and it was very simple and very good!
I had not been there for quite a while so it was good to catch up with the craic!
If your appetite is there you are almost well!
Is your husband the same?
Your tea sounds much posher than mine!

Hi, Rusty!
I think you had the right idea....going out!
You had fresh air and exercise, some company...and a good tea!
Our meal was only microwaveable! but very tasty for all that!
What did especially appeal was that it didn't require much effort to prepare!
Yes, my husband is feeling better, too!
Fortunately, he never lost his appetite throughout!
It was only I who didn't want to eat!
I enjoyed "The Voice"........ but only realised when it was too late that I hadn't set the recorder , after all, for "Casualty"!
Right, coffees coming up!

Hello, Elle!
I had a smashing tea!
They were trying to get me to stay for the karaoke, but I was good and came home.
Miss O is the karaoke Queen in our family!
That's good you are both on the mend!
I have been reading about Jacqueline Wiles, the American skier.
She is out of the Olympics after her crash today.
She has a double leg break and torn ligaments.
Poor lass! It was a bad crash.
Took the shine off teammate Lindsey Vonn's win, for the Americans.
Can you watch "Casualty" another time?

Hi, Rusty!
I've never experienced Karaoke?
I have read about it........but have never been anywhere where it has been taking place?
What a dreadful pity about Jacqueline Wiles....not only, of course, that she was hurt.......but that consequently she will miss out on the Olympic Games.
These sports people train so long for these milestones.
I expect I can find "Casualty" on BBC iPlayer?
But it is not all that important!
I shall read for a little while......I won't be long in going to bed........
I'm still feeling a tad tired.
No set plans for tomorrow.
We still feel the need to take things easy!

Hello, Elle!
You have never sang a song at karaoke?
Goodness me!
It's good fun!
Miss O is a very good performer at it.
Her favourite one is Tina Turner's "Simply the Best".
Yes, dreadful for Jacqueline.
Her teammate, Laurenne Ross, crashed out too.
Lindsey Vonn was horrified.
Lindsey is just coming back from injury, too.
They race again tomorrow.
Last race before they go to Olympics.
I have no idea what kind of courses they will have in Korea.

Good morning, Rusty!
A lovely sunny day here!
but only 1C........so very cold.
I have not been beyond the garden with the dog so far.
I have made a coffee...and printed out the Everyman.....
So I am all set .......
What do you have planned for today?

Good morning to you, Elle!
Fine morning here! Just above freezing, too!
Snow warning for tomorrow!
My plans for today?
More like intentions, than plans.
Not carved in stone!
But I shall watch the women's downhill from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, this morning.
Who can beat Lindsey Vonn?!! Sofia Goggia? Lara Gut?
Hope they all get down OK, anyway.
May look in to the racing from Leopardstown in the afternoon.
And I have the golf from Arizona to watch in the evening.
One of my favourite players, Rickie Fowler, is going well in it.
No puzzle today, I do not get a paper on Sundays.
