Good morning, Pigale!
I like dark chocolate, too!
However, I can not just have one piece!
It does not last very long with me, I'm afraid!

Good morning, Rusty!
We have another wet day here, but this time it is also a very cold one!
I think the temperature is meant to get progressively lower as the week goes on.
I have been to the card shop on my way home from the park.
I only bought a birthday card for my son , though, today.
I shall leave buying the family Christmas cards for another shop, and another day, as I was not impressed by the choice offered.
Maybe a visit to Bromley is needed!
Right....now for coffee, apple and cheese ...and a look at the crossword.

Good morning, Elle!
It is a lovely day here, although the roads were a bit slippy with black ice when I was out.
It was 1°C on car display thing.
The roads look fine now!
I went to TESCO for a change, today.
TESCO have a good range of cards?
And a good range of doughnuts!
I got 6 custard ones!

Hi, Rusty!
The sun is shining here, too, now!
It still feels very chilly though.
We have Sholach Christmas trees for sale in one of our local parks?
I think they come from Blairgowrie?
Isn't this up your way?
I am surprised that the trees are shipped so far from home to sell them ?......
But perhaps this always happens?
Apparently , selling in this particular location is new to the company.
There are notice boards set up around the park, advertising the selling of the trees, and telling where the hut, from which to buy them, is located.
And funnily enough, following that, a fellow dog walker announced his family's relocation to Aberfeldy!
I've been the phone on an off all morning........haven't had the chance to do the crossword yet!

Hello, Elle!
I was up in Blairgowrie two weeks ago!
Visiting my sister-in-law in hospital.
Blair is about 16 or 17 miles to the North of me.
Sholach has a good reputation for Christmas trees.
The plantation is outside Blairgowrie, on the road to Dunkeld, not far from the Loch o' the Lowes.
I understand they have a pop-up shop at your Crystal Palace just now?
I know Aberfeldy well, too.
One of my favourite wee towns!
In a nice part of the world. On the River Tay.
To me, it would be a fine place to locate to.
Schiehallion (the fairy hill of the Caledonians) is close by.
I have not looked at my puzzle yet, too.

Hi, Rusty!
What a small world it is!
Yes, the Christmas tree shop is in Crystal Palace Park.
I haven't actually discovered its location yet.
The park is huge...and I think the trees are being sold outside the railway station, where I never have reason to go.
I didn't know that you had a brother?
I simply remark on it as you said you were visiting your sister- in -law?
(I knew you had a sister who had died, as you have mentioned that)
I don't have any siblings, but my cousin (in Blackburn) and I are very close and have always regarded each other as sisters!
Fancy your knowing Aberfeldy, too!
Peter and Sally inherited the house from her mother, and are going to retire there.
It will work out well for them, I think, as they already know the area and the neighbours.
Ah yes, I know of Schiehallion!
Well, the sky is now blue and the sun is shining...so time to take the dog for a second walk!

Hello, Elle!
No, I am quite brotherless!
My sister-in-law is my brother-in-law's wife.
I was married once, you see?
Is Crystal Palace not so far off?
Are you pondering buying your tree there?
Yes, I know your cousin and you are very close.
I like hearing things like that.
I was in a cycling club when I was young.
That's how I know Aberfeldy etc so well.
We rode all over Scotland
You can suggest to Sally that she joins the Aberfeldy Ladies Gaelic Choir!
I was at their sale of work a couple of times.
Grand ladies!
Still a fine cold day here.
My Argos man has just collected my Chromebook.
I have discovered Argos are very efficient!
I got a text message telling me he would arrive in 15 mins, and he did!

Hi, Rusty!
Home again... goodness it is now going dark very early!
Ah, I have followed you........ brother -in -law is ex-wife's brother; sister in -law is his wife!
I had forgotten about the distaff side of the family!
I get very confused with second cousins and cousins-once-removed, too!
(I have that explanation written down, so I can refer to it if needed!)
And do you remember the "third" cousin I discovered through Friends Reunited"?
No, we are not considering buying a "real" Christmas tree......we have an artificial one.
It is designated a Canadian Pine!
It is 5ft tall and looks very realistic!
We have to nail it to a board, so that the cat does not pull it over!
I shall listen to the choir later on.... and will pass the suggestion onto Sally!
But she may be like me, and unable to sing in tune?
That is good of Argos to come and collect the Chromebook - I had envisaged your having to pack and post it.
Right, now I must go and wash my hair........

Good evening, Elle!
Now, cousins once removed would be a difficult concept for me to grasp!
TESCO had fine looking trees when I was in, today.
I think Sally would be made very welcome by the choir.
And she would not have to worry about the language.
Many in the choir do not have Gaelic as their first language.
She would be like Miss Peckwitt going to Skye!
Argos have proved to be great, so far.
I would use them again.
