Good morning, Elle!
Another fine frosty morning!
10a, I have "always"
Another word for "too" could be "also", short "als".
With "way" for journey, giving "always".
OK?
As you know, technology moves on rapidly,
and there may be cheap Tablets out there much more advanced than the Hudl.
I think a bit of research will serve Pigale well?
Now, are you sitting comfortably in your nice new rocking chair, for I have a tale to tell!
I had a "retweet" on Twitter from someone I "follow".
There was a picture with it of a lovely bouquet of flowers.
They were for the girl who tweeted on her 21st birthday, from her father.
Nothing unusual in that, you may think.
But her father died of cancer when she was 15.
On her 16th birthday a bouquet arrived from her late father, and for each birthday since she has had a bouquet from her late father.
He must have arranged this when he knew he was dying.
I think it is a heartwarming tale and what a fine man her father was.
I have no milk so am off to see the cow!

Good morning, Rusty!
A beautiful day here - frosty and very cold though.
But frosty is good as it means a clean dog!
Yes, I can see "always" now that you have explained it......but it puzzled me all day yesterday!
However, on the plus side, I have already completed - and fully parsed - this Sunday's Everyman!
A nice puzzle...I was held up for a while by one clue...but light burst forth!
No, unfortunately, I am not sitting in my new rocking chair.......I have put it upstairs in one of the guest bedrooms.
For now anyway.....
I think that is a lovely story about the bouquet of flowers.
How very thoughtful and foreseeing of the young girl's father.
Now, for today.....
We are going over to our daughter's shortly.......and shall have lunch with them.
(Dog will be kept company by the cat and the goldfish; we will be back about teatime)
It should be an enjoyable outing!
How about you?
Anything nice planned for today?

Hello, Elle!
I hope you have a nice visit with your family.
Hard frost here, too, but the roads seem fine.
I have no plans but may "lurk" on my eBay page, to see what gives.

Hello, Elle!
I have been browsing and found this.
The story of the girl and her birthday flowers.

Just arrived home......
We had a very enjoyable day!
We drove home in the dark!
The grandchildren were delighted as usual to see us , which is always nice!
We had decided to take the family out for lunch, to save my daughter cooking.......
They wanted to try a new Indian restaurant which was offering a Buffet lunch.
It is quite near to where they live , so we were able to walk there.
Thank you for the clip about the flowers and the note.
That is a lovely story......and to think that the girl's father had planned this to continue for five years.
What lovely memories for her.
How did you go with eBay?

Hello, Elle!
That's good you had a nice time visiting.
Yes, a lovely story about the flowers.
What a remarkable man Bailey's father was!
I think the tale has gone all around the world now.
It was from a Dublin journalist's Twitter page that I got the "retweet".
I had a watching brief on eBay, just.
The leather jacket went for £5.
Only one bid on it.
Hudls are selling well.
I forgot to mention, Elle, if you were thinking of buying anything on eBay, you would really need to join PayPal first.
The vast majority of sellers insist on payment by PayPal only.
I have used PayPal for years and it works perfectly in my experience.
Still quite cold up here!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, it is still cold here, too.......but the day remained crisp and bright, which I really enjoyed.
Maybe you should have tried bidding on the leather jacket if the price was so low........although there again, if you had perhaps started a bidding war, the jacket might have ceased to be a bargain!
I have heard mention of "PayPal"?
I don't know what it is?
And have ignored it, when previously buying the odd thing from eBay....I paid by credit card.
No one challenged that?
I paid by credit card when buying "Three Men in a Boat" from eBay.
Now I must phone my cousin - I think it is my turn?
But I am not sure whether she mentioned being out till later.......

Hello, Elle!
No, I was not really needing the jacket.
I have several here.
PayPal is a payment service which is used on auction sites.
i think Marks and Spencer have PayPal, too.
It makes paying and receiving money very simple and is supposedly a very safe method of payment.
But, if you manage without it, fine!
At one time PayPal was owned by eBay, but they are separate now.
Hope your cousin and family are fine!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, all are well in the North-west, thank you.
Apparently, the children are getting excited about Christmas!
Every year I promise myself that I will be well organised, and will not be charging around buying presents , writing cards, putting up the tree...all at the last minute...
A good resolution but it doesn't ever come to pass!
Ah well, perhaps the 'mad rush' is all part of the festive season?
I do enjoy it...
It is Cyber Monday tomorrow , is it not?
All seems fairly quiet about this?
At one time we would be beset by "extra-special offers " for the last day of the Big Sale!
I might check the books again on Amazon though.
I do need some fresh reading material....altho' I am rather enjoying my "re-reads"!

Hello, Elle!
No charging about for me!
Everything is done, except buying my steak pie!
And cards to write, of course.
Yes, tomorrow is Cyber Monday, I understand.
There were several Hudl's sold on eBay this evening.
All in great condition and sold for between £54 and £82.
I have been reading too.
About Nellie Melba. Have you heard of her?
A great singer.
She took the name "Melba" from her home city of Melbourne.
Never knew that!
I'd say there will be still lots of bargains on Amazon.
