AB just beat me to it Rosalind.
My husband was Mozart's biggest fan.
He was a compulsive collector of classical music and catalogued all his records and CD's, not just by composer, but Kochel numbers (Mozart) as well as record number/label. So it made it easier to find it among the hundreds on the shelves !
Strangely, but sadly, he died on the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth.

Sorry, I was out for a wee while, Jazzgirl.
Yes, there are a lot of clips of Fabian. He is the biz!
I was wondering if it was something by Vivaldi.
But it is Mozart!
Thank you AB and Jazzgirl.
I am pleased for Fabian after his crash in the Spring.
He broke two vertebrae in his back.
Good to see him back.
Yesterday he said the old lion may have to make way for the young ones. Stiil life in the old lion, yet.
So, Jazzgirl, what are you hooked on?
The bike game or Fabian?

Both, rusty!
I have always followed cycling, and you may remember the Olympic road races came through our village as well as other cycle races last August. The races will be coming theough again in August this year and preparations are already well under way here.

Hello, Pigale!
A good stage today!
I enjoyed the engineering achievements to keep the sea out. Very impressive!
Were you happy with the result?
I think Cavendish will get a rocket from his directeur sportif. He sat up when he could not win, instead of fighting to the line. Probably cost Tony Martin the yellow jersey.
A very pleasant evening in my neck of the woods!

I do remember, Jazzgirl. And racing apart, it is a very nice part of the world.
After I followed Fabian on Twitter, I followed Lizzie Armitstead, Geraint Thomas, Victoria P, and Trotty.
Added in a few journalists and that was me started on Twitter!

Rusty, as I said in post 1695, I thought the weather conditions were appalling and rather dangerous, particuarly in the peleton.

Agree for Cavendish, the French radio commentators mentioned it as well - Martin must be furious - he was already angry at himself (and at the heat!) yesterday, so that will give him another reason to be displeased !

Weather rather pleasant here as well, but it has been hot again this afternoon.

Do you - or anyone - ever have problems connecting to the Forum ? Extremely difficult to keep a chat going when it takes at least half an hour to get connected !
