Morning Rusty, Morning everybody !

How are you all?

Rusty, the forecast seems ideal for today's race and reading some article about it, it seems that this stage might be more tricky than meets the eye; the finish on causeway is certainly unusua ! The stage is rather short though, 'only' 166km - probably just as well after yesterday. Someone from Team Lotto for the win in front of their crowd? but I do not know any of the riders really.

I had not realized that Voeckler and Contador did so badly yesterday; wonder if they prefered not to dispense all their energy on first day and in the heat.

A bit cooler here, so to speak, but more humid, which makes it muggy - at last we had a fresher night at just 18c. Temps due to be on the increase again this week.

Just had another look at Cambrai area weather for Tuesday and they seem to be talking of a few sporadic showers - they might change their mind again! reasonably dry .

I went a few times when a youngster to Mont Saint-Michel with my parents and I have kept a nice souvenir of it, albeit the fact that it is so packed with tourists. I would have loved to spend some time there off season.

What's your weather like?

Hello, Pigale!
Nice dry day here, and warm!
Greg LeMond forecasts the crosswinds along the coast will split the peloton. He is on British Eurosport and an asset to the programme.
My forecast for today is Kristoff of Team Katusha to win.
Contador or Froome cannot be happy with their rides yesterday. I think Voeckler was OK, may even see him in a break today!
Enormous crowds out. Flag lowered, they are racing!
Four man group on the attack.

I think Mont Saint-Michel is brilliant
Saw many photographs of it, and all because of the Tour de France!
If it were not for Le Tour I would not have known of it!

Rusty, I kmow about Greg is helping with the commentaries, I watch bits of the race on Eurosport via Internet (there are some free links ! ) so I hear and see exactly what you see ! (My TV antennae is playing tricks on me and may have to be changed).

Is that ITV4, Jazzgirl?
They have better commentators than Eurosport.
I hear Jens Voigt speaking.
A hero of mine!

Yes, I can view ITV4 via freeview channel 24. Not sure if we are sharing the same pictures as Eurosport.
