Sorry, Jazzgirl!
I meant the clock in the Honda Jazz?
I was just wondering this week and hoped you would appear on this thread so I could ask you!

Oh, I feel really thick now, rusty :(
No the clock on the Jazz has to be altered by us. Instructions are in the manual somewhere

Thank you, Jazzgirl!
I was hoping it would do it itself!
I have a manual so it should not be a problem.
Thank you, again!

Looks straightforward enough...I hope!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, but you don't really "gamble" - it is but a mild frolic!
And it must add to the fun in watching?
Now, I have taken it as somewhat of a challenge to lick these "titles" to different clue solving methods... but this is becoming very stressful!
Perhaps I should rest on "A rose by any other name...."?
And give up analysing?
I used to tell the kids not to throw a wobbly!
But I might be feeling one coming on......
I wonder whether we need to change the clock in our Volvo -
I cannot remember what happened last year.
But all our household appliances alter automatically .

Hello, Elle!
I must be living in the dark ages still.
I have several clocks to change and I think there may be a clock on the microwave, but I leave that.
If you want to know about these names of clues, go to YouTube.
There will be full explanations, and probably examples, there.
But, as I said, not for me.
I am not up at that level!
I read Jazzgirl's link on the earlier discussion and noticed ScorpioJo posting.
I do not think she has posted for months now, and she was a very prolific solver on this forum.
Hope all is well with her.
I meant to say, first thing this morning, as it was getting lighty (is lighty a word?), I looked in on the loch.
There were dozens of ducks swimming.
Very nice to see!

Hi, Rusty!
I am sorry for the delay in replying!
My husband is very thoughtfully adjusting the shelving in the alcove, above my computer, so that I can accommodate more books .....
And consequently I have been unable to get to the computer.
We have to alter manual wall clocks.......but all the clocks on appliances automatically adjust themselves to the hour's change.
But don't get carried away just yet..............you still have another week to go on current time!
Yes, I might follow your suggestion and take a look on YouTube about the classification of crossword clues.
I do so hate to be beaten!
I think you might have made up "lighty"?
We haven't had dinner yet......
