Good afternoon, Rusty!
My daughter and grandson have gone to pick up BB from school.
We had lunch here at home - and YB had a whale of a time!
We had to remove several things out of his reach, placing them higher up on the bookshelves.........
He proved to be very resourceful for fourteen months, climbing up whatever he could find, in order to reach the "forbidden fruit"!
I have been puzzling over your latest clue.......I see you again mention Christmas........will that help me?
So far, I have no idea what the answer might be?
I shall give it some more thought whilst I am doing some gardening.....
I want to relocate some (bushy) plants to sit against the new fence.
It is not a big job, just one that we want to do whilst the ground is reasonably soft after all the recent heavy rain.
How was your walk?
How far afield did you venture?

Hello Elle and Rusty,

I am back home - in fact I was back late last night, after the last test
was carried out.
They checked everything and it is nothing more but muscular - but
a very nasty muscular strain of the two long muscles on either
side of the spine, and the pain they can create will radiate right
round the body at times.

I was not that surprised with the verdict but I thought that by now I would be feeling better - and in fact the pain is more intense as the days go by (which is normal at first apparently) ??? It will take at least a
week! I don't really know where I am comfortable anymore and even
typing this is beginning to ache;

How are you both?

Hello, Elle!
Good to hear the young one is up to all sorts!
My latest clue?
Bing Crosby would certainly help you!
A lot of these ancient Jumbos are fairly seasonal.
Mind you, there are some answers which mean nothing to me even when I see them!
Like, "Walther's backing-group?" (3,13,2,9)
Answer, "The Mastersingers of Nuremberg".
Just a bitty out of my reach, that one!
I do not know Walther, other than the firearm manufacturer.
I was out for about forty minutes but it is quite windy up here.
Quite a few branches on the ground.

Hello, Pigale!
Glad to hear it is only muscular damage you have suffered.
You did the right thing getting the hospital to check you over.
Just take it easy for a week or two, and pamper yourself!

Hello, Pigale!
It is good to hear from you and to know that you are basically "all right", even if unfortunately in pain for little while yet!
At least it hasn't proved to be anything "serious", the thought of which was beginning to worry me.
If you "must" fall over another time, do go and see the doctor immediately!
Did they give you anything for the pain?
Take care - and have plenty of rest!
All okay here!
And sunny and cooler!
Roland Garros tennis was rained off yesterday!

Hi, Rusty!
Bing?
Ah , of course........"I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas"!
I am an expert on Bing!
I shall now have an earworm for the rest of the day.......
I should not have got the other clue you just mentioned - I know of Walther as a gun manufacturer, but that is all.
Yes, YB is a little (very adorable) rascal!
He is extremely persistent and stubborn....I wonder where he gets that from....... ?
Some plants have been moved... a few others have been potentially designated new places!
We are pondering......and may change our minds........
I feel another visit to Poll Hill Garden Centre coming on!

Hello, Elle!
I just realised that I misinformed you!
It is tomorrow evening the Diamond League from Rome is on.
Do you get an alert from Eurosport?
It is a fine evening here after the rain.
How is the gardening coming on?

Hi, Rusty!
I was just about to tell you about the tennis "upset", when I saw your message!
Thank you for the Diamond league info....no, I haven't heard from EuroSport as yet - though usually they are pretty efficient in sending me alerts.
Now......tennis update!
I haven't managed to watch much tennis today, but all has definitely not gone to plan........
As expected, Stan Wawrinka and Andy Murray are through to the Semi-finals and due to play each other.
But Novak Djokovic went out to Dominic Thiem, in the Quarter-final today, in three straight sets.
Apparently, the Serbian fans were not best pleased!
John McEnroe is quoted as saying it was as though Novak had just given up and didn't want to be there.
What an upset!
So Rafa Nadal will play Thiem in the Semis.
We have Wimbledon coming up soon....I wonder what this will mean for Novak?
It has stayed fine but gone very chilly here.

Hello, Elle!
I read McEnroe's comments regarding Novak.
Seems strange that he appears to have given up?
The French Open is a very prestigious tournament to win.
Have the French officials said anything about it?
He will get a longer break until his next tournament.

Hi, Rusty!
I'm afraid that I know no more about Novak than I have already mentioned.
I have no idea whether he has personal issues, or maybe injury issues?
It seems to be a bit of a mystery to all concerned?
A strange phenomenon?
It is surely rare to see such a sudden breakdown in form?
I am sorry for him.
I am down to my last book....I need to do some searching on Amazon for ideas as to what to read next.
I am also nearly out of money in my Amazon account!
And no birthday or special occasion coming up to augment my funds!

Good morning, Elle!
Fine day, here.
Millions of books on Amazon for you to explore.
I have several things to attend to later today, so may not be back until evening, depending on how things go.
