Hi, Rusty!
Goodness, the Waterfront development in Dundee is indeed a great big venture!
I hadn't realised when you had talked about it that it was so extensive a project.
Yes, I saw pictures of the hoardings, so can now see where the photos will be displayed.
You will enjoy going to see the exhibition!
It would be nice if Miss O'Hara herself could accompany you?
I am sure she would be delighted to show her grandad her photograph "in pride of place"!
Yes, it is good if your family problems are on the way to being resolved this coming week - I know how stressed you have been feeling.
My daughter has been on the phone telling me her re-arrangements for midweek activities for YB.
He may change his Wednesday music class for swimming lessons (at present he learns swimming on a Saturday) in which case, instead of our meeting up in Bromley, she will drive over here.
Certainly, that will be easier time-wise for me.

Sorry for late reply Rusty -
I will have to check this, but perhaps it is the same one;
in the clip I saw, they were singing 'O sole mio'.

Good morning, Elle!
Fine day here!
Yes, the Waterfront development is a huge enterprise.
I am not sure what the V & A building is supposed to look like, though.
It's very futuristic!
Over the years, driving in to town became an adventure, for things changed constantly, week by week.
It was a case of thinking, "I wonder how I get to such and such a place now?"
"i can see the Road Bridge, but how on earth do I get to it?"
But we managed!
The city A to Z street map became useless for the Waterfront area.
The streets and docks and buildings had gone!
Anyway, the young one is going with her Mum to see the pic today.
Hope the rain stays away for them.

Good morning, Pigale!
Yes, I think that is the same clip!
What did you make of her when she was announced as the winner of Holland's Got Talent?
She collapsed on the floor!
Maybe having a bit of fun, I think?

A Very good morning to you, Rusty!
It is a fine day here, too, at present!
Although the weather forecast is for rain from 4pm this afternoon, lasting right through until 11pm on Tuesday night!
That should be a lot of rain!
It is on the chilly side....I needed a jacket whilst out walking the dog this morning.
No specific plans for today.......I have a few chores to do, then some letter-writing/ emailing/ to catch up with friends.
But first...a coffee!

Hi Rusty,

Just seen your post!

Yes, I think she meant it as a 'joke', something funny to do;
well, she was still a child at heart and that is good. This is precisely
what I still like about her, she has remained so natural, so sweet
even though she has already accomplished so much.

Hope you enjoy today's cycling. I may get to watch it, but
likely to be from hospital where I shall take myself sometime
today - I had a very bad fall on my back on Friday and I am not feeling
any better but rather worse and worse as days go by, so obviously I
must be seen to.

Hello, Pigale!
Yes, take yourself off to hospital for a proper examination!
You may need some treatment.

I hope the racing is good today!

It looked to be a bit of fun from Amira.
The judges were a bit perplexed though.
As you rightly say, she is still a young girl and has a lovely sweet nature.
The world needs more Amiras!

Oh dear pigale, that sounds dreadful. I hope it is only bruising.

I was real osprey watching on Saturday, at the Glaslyn Osprey place in N. Wales. The nest is 1.5 km away so it is hard to see but they have webcams. Best of all I saw a redpoll close-up as they have loads of feeders. There are two osprey nests, but only one male! He only feeds the female of the chicks that hatched first. Apparently previous chicks have not returned to Wales to breed, but Scotland!
The poor volunteers are getting flamed for the fact that wise counsel has said not to feed the female on the second nest. She has gone hunting but lost an egg.
It's a lovely place, recommended for anyone who finds themselves near there. My son enjoyed it even though trains, rather than birds, are his thing

Hello, Pigale!
Goodness, that does sound bad....yes, get yourself to the doctors or hospital as soon as you can.
Better to be on the safe side, and check this out ASAP.
It is not advisable to leave this any longer!
All the very best.
We are all thinking of you!

P.S. Pigale!
You say you landed badly on your back...could you have bruised your kidneys?
