Hello, Elle!
I think all the acts on BGT use backing tracks.
I did see the incident you mentioned and it seemed to me that Ant and Dec were "at it".
They were on stage in seconds to stop the young ones singing.
I do not know why, but I thought Ant and Dec made a meal of it.
BGT seems to like a bit of drama!
I have not read anything about Issy.
She was very good auditioning and I am looking forward to seeing her again.
Hope she goes well!
DNA were on TV this morning and they came across as two very nice lads indeed.
I like them and they have a great act!

Hi, Rusty!
I am (highly) suspicious that a lot of jiggery -pokery seems to go on with BGT.
Its past history has shown up a lot of faults.......I am still suffering over the Jules and the dog(s) deception!
I think the only way for me to enjoy the performances is to close my eyes and eyes to any possible 'counterfeit' , and accept everything at face value!
Yes, I like Issy, too.
(I mispelled her name before!)
Expensive props or no...she did a great presentation, didn't she?
I am looking forward to seeing her again.
DNA is a very clever act.... what a lot of magicians there are this year!
Very grey and "chilly" here now!

Hello, Elle!
And some of the best acts have been removed and we have not been told why.
No Russian contortionists or Chinese acrobats.
Where did they go?
I am very glad the school choir did not get unsettled by whatever went on.
All the wee girls had the same hairstyle, I noticed.
I thought they were great, in spite of Ant and Dec flapping about!
Their teacher, Miss McCaughey, is very proud of them!
It is a fine day here, tomorrow is meant to be better.

Hi, Rusty!
It appears the plot thickens.....
I tried Googling the Russian contortionists....... and they are a professional act with Cirque du Soleil show Kurios.
And although they said they had flown in especially from Russia in order to take part in the show, it would seem that they live in America!
So then I did the same for the Chinese acrobats....it seems that they have already taken part in the Asian version of BGT - and got a Golden Buzzer award!
The couple have been competing together for nine years.
So, have both acts been "exposed"?
Have they subsequently been withdrawn from the show?
I couldn't find out any more information....perhaps I wasn't asking Google the right questions!
Try it for yourself?
No wonder there is always so much controversy surrounding BGT?

Hello, Elle!
No, they have been removed without the public being told.
They were both superb acts and could possibly have won.
Very disappointing!
I wonder what are the qualifications for entry?
I have watched tonight's show.
I liked three of the acts but Issy and Leah are my choices to go to the final.
I liked Grace and Ali, too.
What did you think?

I was not expecting you already to have watched BGT!
I narrowed it down to four......Issy, Matt Edwards , Leah, and Grace and Ali.
I think Issy, and Grace and Ali might have been my voting choices....
But I was very surprised that Leah did not go through.
Her voice is superb...so pure......maybe there was not enough variation of tone, and emotion in her singing?
( I thought the DJ's performance was pathetic? all she did was wave her arms about , whilst suspended in a "flying saucer"!
No "talent " shown there!)
I wonder if Leah will get the judges "wild card"?

Hello, Elle!
Issy and Matt are finalists!
I thought Leah was a cert to qualify, though I think the lead chorister of Angelica Celtis is even better than Leah.
The DJ was a poor effort!
I am amazed the lady got this far!
A very nice lady with a crap act.
I was not keen on Matt, either.
But wee Issy is super!
No nerves, personality plus, and has great tricks, and she had to help Alesha read out the "correct" number!
Roll on tomorrow!

Good morning, Rusty!
A lovely day - warm and sunny.
How are things with you?
Can you tell me how the voting was previously held, in BGT?
Ant and Dec (and Simon) made several references to the choice now being down to the public only...but how did it work before this rule was changed?
I am a relative newcomer to the show and do not recall how it worked previously?
I am now reading "Serious" - John McEnroe's autobiography.
I am fairly sure that when this book originally came out , it was entitled "You cannot be Serious"?
But at some stage, this has changed to "Serious"....... as on the front of my copy.
Unless there are two different books? but surely not?
Uhm....I need to do some research......

Good morning, Elle!
The chicks are growing!
Very warm here!
No, I can not really remember how the acts were chosen.
I remember voting several times by phone in the final.
Ashleigh and Pudsey, and Diversity, I remember voting for.
If you think about it, a phone-in vote will earn the show money, whereas judgement by panel won't.
Could that be it?
Poor wee Issy was overcome by emotion and her Mum ran on stage to comfort her.
She is a wee trouper.
Hope she does well in the final.
I am either going to back Angelicus Celtis, or DNA to win, I think.
The dance groups are disappointing.
Diversity set the bar very high and no other group has got close to that standard.
