Hi, Rusty!
I'm prone to being a tad confused when logging onto Eurosport Player.........
There does seem to be such a mixture of old and new programmes.
I can understand there being recordings - we also get those on BBC / ITV when Sports programmes are shown, but so many of these on E.P are much older than would be expected, like this one of last year's Diamond League from Brussels!
There is a special video section for "old" programmes, so I would not expect to find an "old" out -of- date "Repeat" on a current channel?
It is confusing?
BTW....... not wanting to dwell on a religious theme, but just taking it from an historical viewpoint........I don't remember Mary's parents' names being mentioned in the Bible?
But of course, I could well be wrong?

Hello, Chris!
Sorry, I was supposed to have posted a reply but I don't know where it has gone!
That is not what I was ever taught in Sunday School!
I certainly did not know that version of events!
But I'm not sure that Norah would approve of a religious discussion on here!
I only brought up "Anne" because it was what I classified as an "historical question" on "15 to 1"!
So- apologies to Norah if we shouldn't be discussing this...
And have a great time in Koln!
How long will you be away?

Hi elle
Just a week - though we will be taking trips further south, I think.

I only mentioned it as it is a good trick question for "good Catholics"!

Hello, Elle!
Just go with "Live" programmes!
If it does not have "Live" it is likely to be repeats.
They are still showing clips of Lindsey Vonn and the skiing is long over!
i have no idea about what is, or is not, in the Bible, so I can not help you with Mary's folks.
I have read somewhere, at some time, that the only football team that gets mentioned in the Bible, is Queen of the South.
I hasten to add, I have no idea if this is correct or not, or who they were playing!
I have never read the Bible, you see.
Just been reading that the tennis tournaments at Rome and Madrid have invited Miss Sharapova to play.
No decision yet from Roland Garros.

Good morning, Rusty!
A glorious - but very parky - day!
All the cars were covered in frost early this morning!
Good walking weather though!
I don't think a decision need be made about Maria and the Roland Garros tournament until May 15th?
Public opinion about Maria and potential wild cards seems to be very divided...... but I think, as usual, money will rear its ugly head....
Maria will be a big draw to spectators........
Let us hope that Wimbledon officials stand firm.
I have been stood up today!
My friend has a streaming cold....so no (limited) "Ladies Who Lunch"!

Good morning, Elle!
No frost here but a snell wind blowing.
A beautiful morning, though.
Maria is a huge draw!
And money talks, so it will be interesting to see what they do at Roland Garros.
Eugenie Bouchard says Sharapova should not be allowed back into tennis.
It is an usual venue at Stuttgart.
Often looks more like a disco with purple lighting etc.
Poor you missing Ladies Who Lunch today!

Hi, Rusty!
Now....."snell" is a new word for me! I had to look it up in my Chambers...keen, sharp , severe?
I like it! I shall add it to my growing collection of Scots words!
I had heard of "Snell's Law " though, but I don't think there is any connection!
There is a chill wind here, too...with a distinct "bite" to it.....but the sun is still shining!
Yes, I was disappointed not to be going out for lunch!
But I have done quite a bit of that recently (only yesterday, in fact) so my loss is the dog's gain!
We shall be going out for another walk instead, later on!
However do the tennis players manage to see the ball, if the venue is like a disco with purple lighting?!
It must make one's eyes go funny?
I haven't found any further references to Maria as yet......
I'm doing some chores/ writing letters/ and solving the occasional clue in the 15 x15!
What are you up to?

Hello, Elle!
And there is the great New Zealand runner.
Sir Peter Snell!
The purple lighting is not "on" during the matches, but the audience sit in the dark!
It is very much an acquired taste!
Jo Konta is next on, then Sharapova and Makarova.
This next piece at Stuttgart is called "Give me hope, Johanna!" by BT Sport!
So, not quite Wimbledon or Roland Garros, but very entertaining for all that, except for the disco lighting!
I have started my puzzle and it seems tough today!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
I hadn't remembered about Peter Snell! A middle distance runner?
I might need to check that......
But "Give me 'ope, Jo'anna" is an anti-apartheid anthem?
Eddy Grant, Nelson Mandela and Johannesburg are all jumbled up in my head!
Jo is a good player....let us hope she has recovered from her upset by "Mr Nasty"!
I have nearly finished the 15 x15....my efforts have been spread throughout the day...I've done a bit here and there as it has occurred to me!
I particularly liked 27a and 11d!
I didn't like the homophone in 25a........ "a knee's" sounding like "anese"? Yes , I suppose it does, but a bit weird?
And 10a? I thought "manana" is Spanish for "tomorrow"?
Yes, I'll grant that tomorrow is "later", but a bit of a "loose" definition?
I am now stuck on the south-west corner!
13d and 24a and 26a - all interlocking clues.......no ideas at present.....
Right, I am away out with the dog!
It is trying to rain....but who cares!

Hello, Elle,
I think BT Sport were supporting "Johanna" Konta!
Sharapova is up in the first set.
Quite close though!
13, Could a bright fellow be a bright s???k ?
That should get you going!
It is not so easy today, I did not think.
Fine breezy day here!
Sharapova up 5-4 in the first set.
