Sorry Rusty - just a joke, but not really funny at all. I'll get my coat and quietly steal away

Hi, Rusty!
We are home again from our walk!
It has been lovely out - we went to Lloyd Park, in South Croydon.
No coats needed, and it was warm enough to sit in the sun for a time.
We took a bottle of water (to share with the dog) and a packet of shortie biscuits (NOT to share with the dog; although she did get a dog chew!)
Yes, I fear that you are right....the time is coming when I shall have to decide on a Sports payment package, in order to watch the sports of my choice.
I need to be able to view as many Athletics events and tennis matches as possible?
My main priority would, I think be with the Athletics........?
Is the Cycling progressing satisfactorily?
Whom do you want to win?
What time does your golf start?

Hi rusty
Just watched the end of the race - Gilbert does what Gilbert does!

The commentator said something about Sagan and a hoarding - what happened?

Hello Elle!

Not as sunny here, but not bad either. Too warm for a coat though!
We are in double figures (14C I think), but it was much warmer earlier on this past week.

I looked in on the ospreys and the nest was empty - but I saw both Laddie and Lassie eating yesterday:

my own birds are, (I suppose), doing fine. The mother seems content to leave the eggs alone all day and only sits on them over night! strange behaviour but she did the same last year to begin with stayed in the box constantly for the last 10 days or so - and the birds hatched OK. The camera allows me to see everything 24h/ 24h;
Another one allows me to see the front of the house, another keeps an eye on the back, and the fourth shows the inside. so I just peep at the monitor to check the surrounds of the house and it is also good
to check things when away;

Hi Rusty!

Good that P. Sagan is not hurt! Was he riding too close to the barrier?
or did a spectator's jacket catch him?

Chris, the pictures were not clear regarding Sagan, but it looked like there was loose advertising flapping about on the barriers and it got caught up in his wheel, and also a spectator's jacket. He came down and brought Greg van Avarmaet down with him.
He was riding very close to the barriers trying to escape the cobbles!
A great ride by Gilbert!

Hello, Pigale!
Yes, Sagan was racing alongside the barriers and at one part, the material had came loose (it looked like) and got tangled in his wheel.
There was a spectator's jacket lying there too, but I do not know if the jacket was involved in the crash.
We should hear more later if he is interviewed.

Chris/ Pigale.
The crash is on You Tube.
Type "Sagan crash, Tour of Flanders" and that should get it for you.

Thanks rusty - found it. It did look like the material was loose - reminds me of the policeman taking the photograph (was it Abdoujaborov he took out?)
