Good Morning, Rusty!
I am just home from my walk and have just read your messsge!
Thank you for the timely alert.............I am now listening to the BBC Radio 5 live sports extra on the computer.
I see Nadal has taken the first set, but Dimitrov has broken in the second set and is leading 4 -1.
So probably heading for one set each.......
Fingers crossed for Rafa!
Are you watching???

Men's downhill.
Great day here but very cold.

Hi, Rusty!
Very frosty here, too.
It was somewhat foggy earlier, but is clearing now, and the sun is trying hard to show its face.
It was a good job I decided not to go up to London today - the travel news on the radio has been dreadful.......and we have local road problems too.
Now. the tennis...!
What a second set!
It was exhausting listening to it on the radio!!
So .........one set each now!

Hello, Elle!
This is a smashing game of tennis!
I abandoned the downhill in favour of it.
Great day here.
Just awaiting this match to finish then going for a walk.
You are as well staying home if there are traffic problems.
Why not get a Ladybird book and read Mr Jingles a story!

Hi, Rusty!
Alleluia!
Indeed, what a match!
Neither player deserved to lose!
But I am so glad that Rafa won!
I am exhausted - it is far more tiring "listening" than it is watching!
Roll on Sunday when we shall have a Roger v. Rafa Final!
Are you off now on your walk?
We shall be taking the dog out too shortly.....
It is dull and overcast and very, very cold now here.....

Hello, Elle!
It was a good game.
Two excellent players!
It should be a smashing final on Sunday.
I was out for a walk earlier.
It is hard frost here again.
Has the London smog lifted?

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, it was a great match.......I only hope Sunday's Final does not come as an anticlimax, after today's gigantic effort.
It will be good though to see Roger and Rafa together.
But...wait for this....we are again only being shown "highlights" on BBC 2!!!
Even though this will be the Final!
Only one and a half hours are being allotted to the game!
Yet today's Semi -final match took over five hours!
I am disgusted! and very disappointed!
( I shall have to set the recorder as the family are coming over)
Now tomorrow.... I can only hope that Venus wins! although very unlikely!
You are going to have coffee with Miss ATW in her new flat tomorrow , aren't you?

Good evening, Elle!
I hope Venus wins too, and Federer.
I logged on to my Sky account earlier and it said it is very likely that there will be no Eurosport channels on Sky from February 1st.
There is a dispute between Sky and Discovery who own Eurosport and it is likely Discovery will remove 12 channels from Sky.
So, not so good.
I use Eurosport a lot.
Yes, going to Miss ATW's new flat tomorrow.
And Miss O texted to ask me would I go with her to see "La La Land" in two weeks time. (I think I shall have to pay!)
It has been nominated for a heap of Oscars.
So, that is something to look forward to!

It is so dark and rainy I don't think my garden bird watch will be very successful; indeed I may not be able to do much identifying even if there are any birds to see!
Tomorrow maybe?
Got to go for a walk anyway

The "Birdwatch" is any continuous hour this weekend, isn't it? I think we will wait until it stops raining - sometime this afternoon, the forecast says. A couple of years ago the only bird we saw in the entire hour was a crow that briefly perched on a boundary fence - no visitors to the feeders at all!
