First time posting. Completely stuck on 15d. Any (gentle);hints please?

Got it. Posting must have stimulated my thought processes

Trashed tends to indicate an anagram. Stripped off tends to mean remove the first and last letters. That only leaves jack to find,

So so so difficult.

I have solved 4 clues.

Can I please ask for some advice as to how to approach 1a & 10a?

Is 26a anything to do with Lady of the Lake?

1a is an anagram of the three last words in the clue.

10a has two parts to the word, 5 then 4, the 4 is a loch

The 5 is what smebidy is beneath a kilt.

26a can mean plead or with a change of letter can mean what a hunter chases

HI Druh, don't be too disheartened. As I said in my original post and others have agreed with, this was a particularly trick Everyman. Plus, I'm sure I'm not the only person on here who can see how much your solving has improved since your first posts:-)
