Many thanks, I was indeed puzzled by those 3.......

Really enjoyed some of these clues, 9, 20 and 23. The first two are clever beyond the usual and the third shows Paul’s sense of humour.

Blimey...for a puzzle themed around being puzzled, Paul led me a merry dance.

Only finished up this morning, which either shows I'm very persistent or stupid, I'm not sure which.

Thanks to all for hints on 6D, 19D and 26A, all of which were puzzling me.
