Def is 'puzzled', and a word for what a 'wobbly' can be.

It's tricky to think of a nudge that doesn't give the game away...

1d: That is the word I had in mind. I'll just file that as an unforgivable homonym.
12a: Quite right daria and wulgus = I had a momentary hiccup entering 2d. The E is an O.
That points me to an adjective for 12a that can mean puzzled and might end up wobbly in a certain crafty context maybe, but I don't see a nounal connection.

I’m not sure which fastener you have but there is one that sounds like a word that describes the raising of a difficult subject.

I have a love/ hate relationship with Paul ,this week I love him. Great fun , perhaps some over complicated parsing or maybe just too clever for me!
