Just read it backwards - the last three as an acronym

Doh! 😖 As soon as I saw the word "backward" I got it, without even reading the rest of the hints from Geeker & Jono. How can I POSSIBLY have missed thinking of that reading of "turned away"? And yes, now that I have got it, I agree it's a good clue. Thanks.

Ah, when someone said 'pangram' I thought that meant that the 26 [I]edgeletters were A-Z, but that would have made a lot of my solutions wrong!
