Never started the Prize thread, but here goes. I found this difficult. I’m not too familiar with Enigmatist, so some of that may be not finding the right wavelength. Still, I have a few entries that I haven’t parsed yet. I will ponder them further. COD, because I’m a fan, 20,17.

Enigmatist is my most feared setter. I've only managed to complete one of his Guardian puzzles, and do only slightly better with his aliases in other dailies.
As is more or less typical, after great struggle I've completed only 3/4 of the grid. Have some guesses for the balance plus some unparsed among those filled in.
Some very nice clues so far, though.
Will set it aside for a while and see if inspiration arrives.

I also liked 5 and 15. Very clever constructions that took me awhile to sort out, but appreciated once I had. Never heard of 7 or 8, but the latter is not surprising for an American.

I got in late tonight and am a bit worse for wear so am not going to try and finish it one sitting.

It looks extremely difficult, maybe one of the hardest Prizes I've ever seen so, before I go to bed, I will give my usual couple of hints.

If you do get stuck, there is at least one hidden and at least one very long anagram, both in the acrosses.

Hi, geeker. I was able to get 13,2 quickly from some of the crossers in 2, which helped get a foothold. I suspect you are not familiar with the culprits.

Oh, America will definitely know of 13,2 in 2025 - if they don't already 😉

Brendan, partying at our age takes longer to recover from than it used to. 😉

13,2 is the main block for me at this point. I am completely out of touch with popular culture, which is likely why I'm clueless despite having almost all the crossers. Some word guesses and partial guesses so far.

Aha, I remember the **** in question so have 13,2.

Geeker, that was my guess. The two words of the title are not unusual words. If you want a further hint, let me know.
