Late posting today but wanted to wish HNY for 2025 to you all.

Enjoyed 2d and 12d, noted the 2d link to 22d and the pair of rhyming pairs. Not convinced by the spoonerism.

I have not posted before, but I have loved reading the various posts relating to the Everyman crossword. I’ve been plodding through the puzzle for decades and really enjoy its challenge. I admire the skills, knowledge and wit of so many of the talented posters on this site and I thank them for the innumerable hints they have imparted so freely to we lesser mortals. It is much appreciated. A happy new year to my fellow cryptic lovers.

i'm a bit late to the table, but I wanted to add my thanks for all the tips and hints from fellow posters this past year - I really appreciate that people give hints on the Everyman thread, rather than answers, enabling me to work it out for myself! I've learned a lot.

Thought this was an excellent Everyman; one of my favourites. Loved the wit of 6d.
