Thank you. I had 34dn starting with a ‘P’ (from 33ac ‘keep’) so I’ve gone wrong there. Oh and 38ac - assuming it’s an anagram with godson somewhere in it?

34 D Dos start with a P, the 'keep' is correct.
38 A Does involve an anagram of 'godson'.

Also, how are you supposed to guess the long quote? It's not like I remember what's been in Pseuds Corner over the course of the year.

I didn't 'guess' the long quote - quite a few words became visible and the preamble check list (of letters) helped enormously.

Thanks Malone, I see I had one wrong crossing answer (I had 'iambs' rather than 'iambi').
Don't think I'll be able to get the long quote even though I can guess a few words because I've got no idea what it's about or who said it.
